Simply pull the Scorpion Swing-Away and the entire Spare Tire Mounting Post pivots away from the bed of your UTV so you can access the tailgate.</p><p>Unlike trucks and SUVs, and UTV receiver hitches are commonly located beneath the vehicle. The second included hitch pin is used to lock the pivot of the Scorpion Swing-Away Hitch Joint. A third 5/8" hitch pin is required to attach the Spare Tire Mount to your vehicle and can be purchased at a discounted price as an optional add-on.</p><p>The included U-4045 Hitch Stabilizer can optionally be installed to eliminate wobble between the lower section and the mount post but prevents toolless removal and reinstallation of the mount post. A second Stabilizer to eliminate play between the lower section and the vehicle receiver hitch can be purchased at a discounted price as an optional add-on.
